Lenovo has been leading the smartphone market in more ways than one. Most of their recent launches have been successful, and with Lenovo K8 Note, they are taking the K-series ahead, which has recorded more than 8-million-unit sales so far. Is Lenovo K8 Note better than K6 Note? How good or bad are the features? In this post, we will talk about the pros and cons, besides the features.

What’s good?

Lenovo K8 Note is one of the best devices you can find under 15k in the Indian market, as far as hardware is concerned. It runs on the deca-core MediaTek Helio X23 (MT6797) SoC chipset, with two variants for RAM. The 3GB variant comes with 32 GB of onboard memory, while the 4GB variant has 64GB RAM- both variants having the option of expandable memory up to 128GB. What’s also decent is the display. The 5.5-inch full-HD display is pretty responsive, and the Corning Gorilla Glass covers the entire front part of the screen. Lenovo has been talking about K8 Note’s dual rear cameras, which is the first device from the brand to come with the feature. The 5MP rear one comes with a depth sensor, while the primary 13MP one has the primary sensor. On the front, the device has a 13MP shooter with LED flash. The phone also offers 4G with VoLTE. Lenovo has done away with the Vibe Pure UI, so K8 note comes with Android 7.1.1 Nougat, and an Oreo update has been confirmed for this one.

What’s not great?

Well, Lenovo K8 Note does have some heating issues. Even with just 30 minutes of use, you can feel the change in temperature. Apart from that, most of the things are on fleek for this price point.

Should you buy Lenovo K8 Note?

Yes, absolutely! Lenovo K8 Note is a big improvement in the series, and Lenovo knows that. The device has been raved about, and with the holiday sales going on, you can get this one at a discount too. In fact, many devices, including iPhone 6 32GB is up for grabs at great discounts. Coming back to Lenovo K8 Note, it is a good phone and performs better than most of the immediate competitors. It looks similar to Redmi Note 4, but with the stock Android experience, Lenovo K8 Note is certainly better.
